The diagnostic
OligoScan
Oligoscan tells you why.
At the cellular level, every biochemical process depends on the precise balance of minerals, trace elements, and the absence of heavy metals. When that balance is disrupted — through diet, environment, stress, or accumulated toxic exposure — the consequences ripple through every system in the body: energy production, hormonal regulation, immune function, neurological performance, and cellular repair.
Oligoscan measures that balance in real time, directly from your tissue — not from a blood sample reflecting a single moment in circulation, but from the cellular environment where these elements actually do their work.
What it measures
Oligoscan is a non-invasive spectrophotometry device that uses safe, low-intensity light frequencies to measure over 35 elements directly from the tissue of your hand — in under five minutes, with no blood draw.
Elements assessed include:
Essential minerals — magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, calcium, potassium, iron, and others
- Trace elements critical to enzymatic function and metabolic regulation
- Toxic heavy metals — lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, aluminium, nickel, and others
- Mineral ratios — calcium to magnesium, copper to zinc, sodium to potassium — which are as diagnostically significant as individual levels
What the results reveal
A mineral can appear within normal range in blood while being critically deficient at the cellular level. Oligoscan bypasses that blind spot — showing what your cells are actually working with.
Magnesium deficiency — one of the most common nutritional insufficiencies globally — is almost always missed on standard blood panels. Oligoscan detects it at tissue level, along with deficiencies in a range of other elements that blood testing routinely overlooks.
Heavy metals accumulate in tissue over years of environmental exposure — from air, water, food, dental materials, and occupational sources. Standard clinical testing rarely assesses this. Oligoscan makes the burden visible — and quantifiable.
Mineral ratio imbalances reveal patterns that individual values conceal — hormonal disruption, inflammatory tendency, adrenal stress, and metabolic dysfunction all leave characteristic signatures in mineral relationships.
What happens after — the protocol that follows
Oligoscan results drive a targeted correction protocol developed the same day as the scan.
Mineral deficiencies identified at tissue level are addressed through precisely dosed supplementation — and where absorption is compromised, IV nutrient delivery bypasses the gut entirely, delivering correction at full bioavailability.
Heavy metal burden is addressed through a structured detoxification programme — including dietary and lifestyle adjustments, specific chelating nutrients, and therapeutic support calibrated to the metals identified and their levels.
Repeat scanning at 3 to 6 months provides objective confirmation that mineral status is normalising and heavy metal burden is reducing — making the intervention measurable, not assumed.

How it works
How it works
You rest your hand on the Oligoscan device. A gentle light probe is placed against the palm, and four readings are taken from the surface of the skin — a process taking approximately three to five minutes.
The device analyses light absorption in the tissue and generates an immediate, comprehensive report covering mineral status, trace element balance, oxidative stress indicators, and heavy metal presence.
Results are reviewed in a consultation with our practitioner the same day. Every finding is explained in clinical context — what it means, how it connects to your symptoms or health goals, and exactly what to do about it.
Suitability
Who should get it and when
Oligoscan is particularly valuable for:
-
01
People with chronic fatigue, low energy, or adrenal dysfunction where nutritional depletion may be a driver
-
02
Those with hormonal imbalances — thyroid disorders, reproductive health issues, cortisol dysregulation
-
03
Anyone with neurological symptoms — brain fog, mood disorders, poor cognitive performance
-
04
People with significant environmental or occupational heavy metal exposure history
-
05
Those managing autoimmune or chronic inflammatory conditions
-
06
Anyone beginning a comprehensive health optimisation programme who wants the clearest possible nutritional baseline
How does Oligoscan differ from a blood mineral test?
Blood tests measure what is circulating at a given moment. Oligoscan measures what is present in your tissue — which is where minerals actually function. A nutrient can appear normal in blood while being critically depleted in cells. Oligoscan reveals that gap.
Is the test painful or invasive?
Not at all. The device uses light — not needles, not blood draws. A small probe is placed gently against the palm of your hand for a few minutes. Results are available immediately.
What heavy metals does it detect?
Oligoscan screens for a comprehensive range of toxic heavy metals including lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, aluminium, and nickel — all of which accumulate in tissue through environmental and dietary exposure and can significantly impact health even at sub-clinical levels.
What happens after I get my results?
Results are reviewed immediately with our practitioner, who develops a specific, personalised correction protocol. This may include targeted supplementation, IV nutrient therapy, and a structured detoxification programme if heavy metal burden is identified.
